Apart from the things you can do to improve your health, like eating well, exercising and all that stuff, there are many more things to improve how you feel.

Important people come and go, but life goes on.

People you consider important in your life might become strangers one day, fortunately, strangers might become important people to you in a single day! Accept the loss of people and be grateful for the quality time you had spent with them and be open to new people in your life.

Choose what you “consume”

Consuming is not only what you eat, it’s what you choose to do. its who you choose to spend time with, what movie to watch, what to read, remove what you consider “junk” by not following trends you don’t like, and stay away from toxic people.

Sometimes you might need to let people down.

The most important person in your life is your own self, not with a selfish meaning but because you will have yourself following you until you die! so the only person you must not let down is yourself, don’t try to accomplish someone else wish if this does not make you happy! don’t be afraid to say your opinion, and don’t be afraid to do what makes you happy.

Rejection should not lead to self-rejection.

We all have been rejected romantically, professionally, or socially sometimes in life! rejection is painful and makes us fear rejection, this makes us run away from situations we can be rejected, but in reality, the only thing we do is get self-rejected. Don’t fear rejection; try to get better, to improve yourself where you can get improved.

Take responsibility, and own your future.

You are not always responsible for every bad thing happening to you, but you are responsible for how you will react and how you will let or not present conditions control your future; if you let the past control your emotions and acts, you are not taking responsibility for your future.

Quality, no quantity.

You don’t need many “friends”, you need just one or two good friends, you need moments that you will remember forever and not countless moments that you will forget the next day, be a person of quality, not quantity.

Stop believing in fairytales.

Don’t obsess over things that society orders you; you don’t need to be a religious person because your friends or family are if you don’t believe in god! you don’t need to follow the steps that someone you consider successful just because your friends or family admire that person and you want one day to be admired like this person. Happiness is fake if you follow blueprints that you don’t believe.. be a person you will admire.

Have fun.

Do not subscribe to other people’s definition of “fun”; fun is something personal and significant in our current times that we are overwhelmed by our daily work routine, you like drinking and socializing, but your friends don’t. Do what you like and do not your friends like. You like playing video games and watching movies, but your friends consider you a nerd, don’t give a fucking care, do what you like, don’t be afraid that you will not find people with the same hobbies as you, you will be impressed to find how many people like the same things like you do.

Be kind.

This might be the most important advice, be kind; every person you meet has his own personal struggles, regardless if you can see his struggle or not, like you… so don’t be afraid to show your real you to others, but with kindness.
